So what is the point of the "burrito holder"?

First let me explain that we call the "sleep positioner" a burrito holder...

I don't know why?

Probably because we've never really known the proper name for it:)!

So the last few mornings we have woken up to little miss emma nowhere near her burrito holder (starts in it at 9pm but by 7am this is where she ends up:)... which of course makes us laugh and then of course makes her laugh!! So stinkin' cute BUT we're pretty sure she is DONE with her burrito holder/sleep positioner thingy!... LOL!!!

Almost 11 weeks...

Clearly the things I get excited about have changed!!...

You know you are a Mom when...

• you cry when your daughter reaches for a toy ring:)
• you clap and get excited for your daughter when she reaches for that ring:)
• you are in utter amazement that the same child who a few weeks ago could barely stay awake or focus on anyone or anything is completely focused on a stuffed green frog:)

You think you're child is a genius when...

• At 10 weeks is reaching for said rings:)
• At 10 weeks is laughing hysterically and talking to herself alone in her crib
• At almost 11 weeks; sleeping 8-10 hours a night, LOVES her schedule, eating wonderfully, weighs almost 12 lbs. and is 23 inches, playing and batting at all her toys that a few weeks ago didn't know existed:), holding her head up and laughing!
  

How is it possible...

How is it possible that one little baby girl could require so much stuff for a simple picnic at the pool with friends... hilarious!

4th of July!

Emma's first 4th of July went great....

although somehow we ended up celebrating with bbq's & fireworks on the 3rd and the 5th. On Saturday the 4th we actually cleaned the house and did projects around the house!

So weird how that worked:).
