Random Pics of our sweet Emma Grace!

Emma has definitely found her feet. She is LOVING them! Just hanging out playing and of course once she sees the camera.... TOTAL HAM!!:)

Bad habits start early, right?!:) Too funny... if you notice in the top 1st picture our daughter LOVES the TV so she is straining her neck to watch it. I set her up and she had a hootin' hollerin' good time! What am I going to do with her:)! These pictures are too funny:)LOL!!

She honestly thinks it hilarious! To smart for her own good:)LOL...

Had an amazing day!

So we went to our first MOPS on Tuesday morning and OH BOY!! MOMMY LOVED IT:)!!
It was so incredibly nice to be around other mom's. I know it's such an obvious statement and everyone has been telling me how great it is once I join something like that but WOW it was better than I thought. So Emma and I were off to MOPS at Calvary Bible Church in Boulder and we had a blast. I got assigned a group and it just so happened that one woman lives on my street and just moved from Fullerton, another one lives in Vista Ridge (my subdivision), another 3 live in Erie (where I live) and one of those I went to high school with her husband! What are the odds of that:) Small world. My whole goal was to meet some Godly mom's who stayed home and whom I could possibly forge a friendship with, go on walks with and that lived close. Because we have not landed 100% at a church yet it was important to me to find a group of women that lived close, ya know?! Anyway had an incredible time, Emma did FANTASTIC and it's official I nursed in public for the 1st time! Funny, right:)... I've just never had to do it so i haven't. Also I'm such a nursing chair, praise music on or reading, in the nursery type of girl that I've never really wanted to either, but the atmosphere at MOPS was so inviting to just be a mommy that I was super comfortable! Anyway just wanted to write and say that I could not have asked for a better experience and for some reason even after living here for 4+ years, having amazing community with our neighbors and great friends it REALLY feels like home after going. I guess starting to raise our daughter here is the clincher; who knows! Just wanted to share and say that every mom (working or not) should find a community of moms to fellowship with!!

She was WIPED out:)

What am I a ROCKSTAR!

Ha Ha...LOL!!! My friend Paige turned 40 and we had a big blowout party for her; it was a blast! I haven't dressed up, put on makeup!, heels??? for goodness sakes in over a year and a half. It was so fun just hanging out, eating, laughing and dancing with the girls. I got home at midnight and thought geesh... what am I a rockstar:)? I can't believe I don't have one picture from that night; it would have been nice to document that this stay at home mom "still's got it"!:) and also I don't know when the outfit and makeup will be happening again!:) I guess I was just so excited to be out!
I do want to thank my amazing and wonderful husband for never giving me a doubt in my mind that he would have a great night with his daughter!!!
it was amazing to me how many women there were saying;
"oh gosh I hope everything is ok"
"Oh he's going to kill me for going out tonight"
" Oh I better get home because he is angry that I came out in the first place"
Thank you, Thank you Chris for being awesome!!

Trip to California

Here are a few pictures from our trip to California...

Daddy explaining to Emma that we are about to get on one of those planes... so if she could go to sleep and not have any poop incidents that would be great:)!

So needless to say that poop thing didn't work out:)... these are different pj's because the ones that we got on the plane with were indisposed at the moment; she's sorry:). She listened to the sleeping thing; so what more can you ask for!

1st plane ride (w/ daddy & grandma)

At the rehearsal dinner in Malibu.
After a very early morning, a plane ride and a quick nap she did fantasic!

At the wedding in Malibu!
Other than the fact the other pictures show her sweating to death
(it was so stinkin' hot up there) she did great the whole night.

She even had her own placecard (which were rocks; very cool)
I kept saying I hope she's at our table?? That was the joke because the whole family was so excited to see her including the bride (my cousin Nancy:)

Hanging out with grandpa in Irvine!

Yeah!! Auntie Kristin

The moment Chris & I were waiting for... introducing her to the beach!
Man we had such a blast. This was couple of hours before we got on the plane; we wished we could have stayed longer!

The best part of our trip! Family day at Newport!

Traveling with an infant...

So some of you may have seen my cry for helpful hints on facebook but I thought I would tap into my blog friends as well. We leave Thursday morning for the airport. Emma's official first plane ride; holy cow:)! Actually I'm not to worried about it, I really have received some very helpful hints that I think will make the whole trip easier but again thought I'd ask you. So what are your insightful, brilliant and maybe creative hints and ideas for traveling for the first time with a 3 1/2 month old??
